The accessible playground and splash pad opened to the public at 1:00 pm on May 21, 2022.  Hundreds and hundreds of children and adults have been using the facility daily!

Thank you to our major Sponsors—The Schooler Family, Floyd County Commissioners, Floyd County Legacy Foundation, Kosair Charities (first statue on Indiana side of the Ohio River), GameTime/Sinclair Recreation, Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, Caesars Foundation of Floyd County, Floyd Memorial Foundation, Samtec Cares and RIC Electric who donated all of the lighting and electric for the project!

Also, Thank You to the many local sponsors through the Indiana Housing and Community Development CreatINg Places Patronicity program that help raise nearly $110,000 for the playground.
