IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE THOROUGHLY SO YOU’RE PREPARED EACH SUNDAY:

  • CHANGES/UPDATES POSSIBLE: It’s your responsibility to check for any changes and/or updates to team rosters and game schedules!

  • PLAYER/COACH REQUESTS NOT GUARANTEED: While we do our absolute best to fulfill as many player and coach requests as possible, please remember they are not guaranteed.
  • PLAYER CHECK IN: Players must arrive at least 30-minutes in advance of their first game on Week 1 to pick up league-issued NBA uniform top.
  • PLAYERS MUST WEAR LEAGUE-ISSUED T-SHIRTS: Participants must be outfitted in their correct league-issued NBA uniform top each week of play. No exceptions!
  • TOURNAMENT PAIRINGS: Pairings for the league-ending single-elimination tournament will be available shortly after the conclusion of regular-season play on Week 3.
  • REFUNDS: No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline (Oct. 21).
  • GYM ENTRY: The doors will open to players, coaches and spectators 45 minutes in advance of the first game at each gymnasium.
  • DO NOT BRING BASKETBALLS: No basketballs will be allowed to be brought in from outside the gym. Basketballs used for warm ups and games will be provided at each court.
  • NO UNATTENDED CHILDREN: All children — both league players and young spectators — at all times must be under the supervision of an adult. No dribbling basketballs around the facility. No running. No horseplay.
  • NO PETS: Pets are not allowed inside the facility. Trained service dogs are welcome with proper identification.
  • SPECTATOR ADMISSION: All spectators will be charged an admission fee of $5 each Sunday. Spectators will receive a unique hand stamp each week that is good for all locations for the entire day.
  • CONCESSION STAND: Food and drink items will available for purchase at the concession stand.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA: Follow Floyd County Parks and Recreation on social media — Facebook, Instagram and X — for league updates .

PARENTS — WHAT TO DO BEFORE SUNDAY’S FIRST GAMES: 

  1. View the team roster file (located below) for the division in which your child is registered to participate.
  2. Locate your child’s name on the roster and remember their team’s name.
  3. View the game schedule (located below) for the division in which your child is signed up to participate.
  4. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your child’s first game on Sunday to check in and pick up league-issued uniform top at the admission gate that must be worn for all league games.
  5. Check back throughout the week for possible updates or changes to the rosters and schedules. It's important you reguarly check the email address used during the registration process and the parks website for possible changes.

COACHES — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE SUNDAY’S FIRST GAMES:

  • COACHES MEETINGS ON WEEK 1: All coaches must attend a brief meeting that will take place approximately 10-minutes before your first game on Week 1 regarding league rules and regulations.
  • CHECK IN EACH WEEK: All coaches must sign in each week at the admission gate.
  • ARRIVE EARLY EACH WEEK: All coaches must arrive at least 15-minutes before tipoff to gather players.
  • NO BASKETBALLS: Do not bring basketballs to the gym. Basketballs used for warm ups and games will be provided at each court.
  • PRACTICES: Practice time will be made available to each league team at the Southern Indiana Sports Center in New Albany on a first-come, first-served basis. Head coaches may reserve a one-hour time slot per week. Practice time slots must be selected at the admission gate on Sunday during league play for the following week.
  • EQUAL PLAYING TIME: A league coach's main responsibility as a league coach is to oversee the near-equal distribution of playing time to all rostered players in attendance. Additional basketball instruction and game management is appreciated.
  • NON-ROSTERED, ILLEGAL PLAYERS: The use of any player not on the league’s official roster and/or approved prior to the game by parks staff will result in a forfeit for the team in violation. If your team is going to have a short roster or is missing players, please speak with parks staff.
  • TEAM BENCH: Only the approved head coach wearing a parks-issued arm band is allowed on the bench. No non-rostered players, children or adults are allowed on the bench or the surrounding area. Do not remove your armband each Sunday until your team is done for the day.
